Good morning! How was everyone's weekend? Mine was great!
Saturday was a low-key day filled with a bit of laundry and cleaning, and oh yeah, shopping! Jordyn and I had a girls morning at Target that included Halloween costumes for each of the kids, the kids' first Christmas presents, some fruit (LOVE that Target sells produce now) and some Pumpkin Spice Waffles (finally!!!!)
That was pretty much the most exciting part of my Saturday. I know, it's exciting, you don't have to tell me. lol!
Today had a bit more excitement. The morning was pretty relaxing, but this afternoon we headed out to Ottawa Farms for some pumpkin picking and fall fun! We had a blast! There was a ton for the kids to do. We started with a few pictures with, what else, pumpkins!
Apparently my kids decided they didn't want to smile at the same time today! LOL!! After a few pictures, it was time for the bouncy slide. I got halfway up the slide and then was told I couldn't go up, so I oushed Jordyn up and hopped down, while Dylan took her down the slide and through a few obstacles
It was then onto the Cow Ride!
And then for some tricycle racing at the Ottawa Speedway!
We thought the corn crib would be fun for Jordyn, but she wasn't quite sure what to do. It was Dylan to the rescue trying to show her to play in it like a giant sandbox. She finally caught on but really just wanted to put the corn kernels on Dylan. lol
After waiting really patiently, Dylan finally asked if he could go to the Corn Cannon. That was fun! You shot ears of corn out of a cannon at bullseye target. Of course, TJ just "had" to help.
Before hopping on the hayride, to the corn maze, we had to watch some pig racing.
Finally, it was time to head into the corn maze. Unfortunately we didn't get to do as much of it as we wanted to. Jordyn started getting whiny because she was tired and thirsty but Dylan still loved it and we had a great time!
